Some players are accurate shooters. Some players are hard shooters. The LaxRadar by Crankshooter® allows the player to practice both without needing another person holding a radar gun.

The Crankshooter® LaxRadar Features:  

  • No need for a 2nd player to shoot radar, great for back yard solo practice.
  • Records instant and accurate speed readings from 3 to 150 mph
  • Speed recall feature stores the last 10 recorded speeds.
  • Voice feature announces speed reading. Clear and can be heard from a distance of 100+ feet. Can be turned on or off.
  • Bright LED display for easy visibility.
  • Displays miles per hour or kilometers per hour.
  • Hands-free operation allows the radar to be used by a single person.
  • Portable radar can be used anywhere - practice at home or on the lacrosse field. It also works great when used for soccer, baseball, hockey and various other sports where speed can be measured.
  • Battery-powered:  Requires 5 AA batteries that are not included.
  • Includes an adjustable tripod that sits low to the ground. It can also be adapted to most other tripods with a screw mount. Screw threads on LaxRadar are universal.

Awesome and Accurate

Great radar. My son plays in our backyard, often alone, because no one else in the neighborhood plays lacrosse. This is great because he can use it himself. His friend has a Bushnell velocity radar gun and this shows similar and consistent speeds to that. Very happy with my purchase.
I’ve read other reviews saying that the stand breaks easily but it looks solid to me. As long as you are opening the legs in the correct direction there should be no problems.

Great Ball for the players

This is our second time ordering these balls and the players love them. Great texture and feel for those precision shots. Everything has been solid. Shipping was also fast and easy. Only area I see for fast improvement is the material used to string the netting to the goal, the rope material is cheaper and frays easily.

Great Net

Really happy with the pop-up backstop! Saves a lot of time on ball hunts after practice and I don't worry about my players nailing someone on the track with a stray shot. Wind is the only real issue, but throwing a couple player bags on the bases to weigh it down is an easy fix.
