Fallball has arrived.
Players are on campus and practices have started at different schools around the country. October will usher in full competition with scrimmage events.
This resource below catalogs the men’s events. Note that not all are open to the public, and times can fluctuate greatly given the informal and unofficial nature of fallball. Please confirm directly with an institution before attending any event. This only includes intercollegiate events and not alumni events. It is also an ever-changing list and will be updated as more events are finalized and some change.
One of the great things about fallball is the number of charitable efforts ingrained into the events. HEADstrong has battled cancer and for more than a decade has had a significant presence in the fall. The Bob Kemp Lacrosse Classic has supported the Washington Jesuit Academy. There’s the American Boy Foundation and others too, whose events serve a greater purpose.
The fall will have a de facto kickoff with the USA Lacrosse Atlas Cup, held in Sparks, Md., from Sept. 26-28 and featuring international Sixes competition.
A women's calendar is under way, with women's events greater in number as there are more teams and less limits on competition dates.
