The NEW adjustable angle Backstop CURV™ is the result of the latest version of the CrankShooter Mobile Backstop net system. It is an easy to assemble and easy to take down piece of lacrosse field equipment. With engineered joints at 10-foot intervals, the Backstop CURV™ is rugged and can be configured in an assortment of angles.  Fitted with a new super twist poly 3.0 mm black net (vs. typical 2.0) net that is UV and weather resistant, the Backstop CURV™ system is also fully black to better blend into the background in any field or backyard. The latest version has dual reinforced welds at joints at the vertical pole base for stronger system integrity during high wind events & weather.  This system also has diagonal braces at each vertical pole for additional reinforcement for toughness.

With no support wires attached to this product, it is great for indoors and for outdoors where it is easy to move when mowing or repositioning. This product ships via UPS and leaves the dock typically within 24 hours. Sorry, no free shipping on this product. The Backstop CURV™ needs a fairly flat level surface to perform properly. Sandbags on the feet are suggested for high wind environments.

Exactly what we needed!

Just what we needed to prevent our middle and high school laxers from hitting the brand new house next door… The height and width are sufficient to catch almost all errant shots. And it’s not much of an eye-sore. Assembled by myself. Pretty easy if you take your time and follow the directions. Still only a couple of weeks old, but felt quite sturdy when constructing and haven’t had any issues yet. Very happy with my purchase. A quality product that meets its need. Thank you, CrankShooter.

Assembly went great!

Everything arrived on time and as stated. The net assembly took less time than expected.

Easy to setup, only took about an hour and a half. One thing the first time using it net ripped small and caused a small hole. Make sure the net is lose enough so that when the ball hits, it doesn’t rip.

Backstop Curve

The backstop curve allows me to backstop one bounce back and net plus another bounce back. I have only had for a couple weeks but it seems like it will hold up. The issues, 1. The package is heavy so it gets beat up in transport 2. Install instructions were not great, had to figure several things out on my own. (biggest take away- on the lateral supports add them after everything else has been assembled, you will have to unassemble each connection point but that is ok providing you have the correct tools). 3. Some of the poles were not correct and they would not slide together, I used a vise and a towel and slowly worked them to the right opening size. Because my package was beat up some items were lost but Crankshooter always makes things right so you are covered. It is hard to make this product at the correct price point so I am giving all of these issues the benefit of the doubt.

Easy and nice

Solid goal, very simple setup. Maybe took 5 minutes, most of which was figuring out the orientation of the net once unfolded. It should be simple to put away for the winter to keep it in good shape.

Pretty Cool Device

OK, so I'm using it for what the company said was not recommended which is monitoring car speed down my street. I have to say I'm super surprised by its accuracy. I have it mounted under a couple cameras with microphones and have the Crankshooter voice turned on so its calling out the speeds and the camera microphones are picking it up. I bought a battery eliminator kit so I can plug the Crankshooter in without having to worry about battery life. Super impressed with it and may buy another to point in the opposite direction to pick up both traffic directions. I also covered the Crankshooter with a black waterproof Nylon bag to protect it from the elements as the doppler radar isn't affected by the lightweight nylon. Super happy and satisfied ! ! !
